Root Canals

If a tooth has been injured or infected by bacteria to the extent that the nerve of the tooth starts to die, a root canal is indicated.  Most root canals can be accomplished in our office, but if a tooth has unique root structures or is in a location that makes accessing the nerve difficult, we may refer you to an endodontist  in our area.

If you break a tooth and Dr. Klassen recommends that a post is to be placed within the root of the tooth so that a crown can be cemented onto the post, a root canal may also be indicated.
